Shoppers love self-checkout! In a recent survey, 46% of shoppers said they prefer self checkout even when they have more than 10 items in their shopping cart. That percentage rises to 71% of shoppers who prefer checking out on their own if they have fewer than 5 items to purchase. Overall, nearly half of all shoppers prefer self checkout overall, regardless of the number of items.
